Hello Heirs. This is Epic Seven.
We would like to inform you that the 5★ Limited Covenant Hero, Byblis, will undergo a balance adjustment.
Originally designed to counter Heroes with counterattacks and limit their attacking power simultaneously, Byblis received feedback from many Heirs regarding her overall usability. The primary concern was the significant variability in battle results based on the efficacy of her skill, "I'm Warning You," and the perception that her ability to limit counterattacks was not sufficient enough compared to enemy counterattacks. This resulted in her lacking strength against counterattacks. Upon analyzing the actual battle data, we have confirmed that Byblis's usability did not meet our expectations.
In light of this, we are implementing a balance adjustment for the 5★ Limited Covenant Hero, Byblis. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as the balance adjustment will be applied during the Limited Covenant Summon period.

Firstly, the effect of increasing Combat Readiness of the caster on her skill, "I'm Warning You," will be transferred to her basic skill effect of “Gardener's Secret”. This adjustment allows Byblis to gain Combat Readiness whenever an enemy counterattacks, removing the previous limitation based on turn count. Consequently, if enemies counterattack frequently, Byblis can gain her turn faster, enabling more frequent use of her skills.
Additionally, the debuff duration reduction by her skill, "I'm Warning You," will be extended from one to two turns. Furthermore, the chance to inflict decrease Defense debuff will be increased from a maximum of 70% to 80%, facilitating easier buff removal on enemies and more reliable infliction of the decreasing Defense debuff. The skill will now include an additional effect of restoring the Health of all allies, enhancing her ability to withstand counterattacks and enemy attacks.
Lastly, her skill, "A Larunda's Hospitality," will now remove 10 Soul from enemies. With the ability to gain turns faster when enemies counterattack frequently, Byblis can effectively disrupt the Soul usage of enemies, preventing them from using Soulburn.
The balance adjustment for the 5★ Limited Covenant Hero, Byblis is scheduled to be applied during the update on 12/21 (Thu).
