Setting Up Your First Azimanak 13 Auto Team
Welcome to part 2 of the Hunt 13 Auto Guides Series. I'm your host, shreckedtv. In this guide we will be covering your first time clearing Azimanak 13.
Azimanak Mechanics
There's not too much to cover here. The main things that you will need to know can be summarized pretty quickly:
- Azimanak has 80 Effect Resistance. This means you need 65 Effectiveness to maximize your debuff chancees.
- Azimanak has 100 Effectiveness, so if you want to resist debuffs you will need 200 Effect Resistance. If you're reading this guide you probably don't have to worry about this, but it's good to know.
- Every fourth attack taken Azimanak will gain a level of Beserk. This buff stacks up to 4 times and increases Attack, Defense, and Speed.
- This can be stripped, so it's important to bring a buff stripper.
- Azimanak deals additional damage for every debuff on your unit. They also deal more damage if you have dead characters, but that's kind of a moot point.
- If Azimanak has 3 or more debuffs when attacked it will cleanse all debuffs from itself, reset all its cooldowns, get an extra turn, AND give itself a 2 turn Attack buff.
- In case you didn't get this part, you can only bring 2 unique debuffs. This also means any units that apply Bleed, Poison, or Burn are unusable here.
- When Azimanak is below 30% health, your healing gets reduced by 50%.
These are the main mechanics you need to be worried about. I'm not going to get into the actual skills because I think it's unnecessary.
Potential Units
Rather than list specific teams like in the Wyvern guide, we're going to be going over different units that can occupy different roles. This is mostly because there's a number of 5* units recommended and it's unlikely you will have all of them.
These units are listed in order from Best to Passable. That's to say that all these units are viable, some are just notably better.
Front Tank
-
Unbound Knight Arowell
Light KnightArowell's S1 has two 75% chances to strip and S2 gives her Escort buff (30% damage share). She has a better S1 than ARas but ARas will be much more useful in PvE. Arowell is a great PvP hero though, so when you build her later she's a good option here.
-
Adventurer Ras
Fire KnightARas has a 75% strip on S1 and can hold Aurius. You need to run him skills off since he has Def buff as well as Immunity buff which will likely push you over the buff limit. If you have no other buffs then you can run him skills on.
-
Blood Moon Haste
Dark Soul WeaverBMHaste has a 100% strip on S1. His S2 gives your team barrier and Immunity when the eggs revive. His S3 gives all allies 10% damage reduction if it's available.
Technically better than Adventurer Ras here, but this is pretty much the only piece of content he's good in.
AoE DPS
-
Vildred
Earth ThiefVildred gives himself Atk buff and CR push before doing an extra attack each time he kills an egg.
Always run him skills off so you can proc S2 twice each time the eggs respawn. The best Azi DPS, but he's not used anywhere else except in end end game PvP with SSS imprint.
-
Bomb Model Kanna
Fire RangerKanna gains free Spd and dual attack chance from her S2 passive. If you don't have Iseria, then her S3 provides a strip for the boss (without needing any Eff) and gives the team Spd buff as well. If you don't want to farm out her connection, then Mercedes is a fine alternative.
-
Mercedes
Fire MageMeru's S1 CR pushes her and her Ep3 upgrade passively increases her Atk by 15% as well as giving her a revive. If you don't have Iseria, then her S3 gives team Atk buff and her S2 hits twice. She still does fine without her Ep3 upgrade, she'll just be a bit weaker and around Arby level instead.
-
Arbiter Vildred
Dark ThiefArby has a revive, giving you a safety net in case he dies. If you don't have Iseria, his S3 doesn't really provide much value though you should still leave it on just for some extra damage.
Support
-
Iseria
Earth RangerIseria provides a consistent source of strip, Unbuffable, and Def Break.
Her S2 pairs insanely well with Tamarinne, letting her enter Idol form immediately. This does incentivize you to run your Tank and DPS skills off, though it's very worth it.
-
Luluca
Ice MageLuluca has relatively consistent Def break, good damage, and (with the Iela Violin artifact) can provide a strip as well. She needs to be run skills off since her S2 adds 2 buffs. Bit of a weird spot since Iseria is in selective, but if you like her she's a solid upgrade over FKluri.
-
Falconer Kluri
Earth KnightFKluri has a strip and Def break on S3, though the cooldown is pretty long. She also provides a bit of healing via her passive and can hold Aurius to shift the damage burden off your frontline if you want.
Healer
-
Tamarinne
Fire Soul WeaverTama brings amazing healing, Atk buff, CR push, and a strip. She struggles in dealing with the silence since it's impractical to get her to 200 EffRes, but she'll be able to easily heal you right back up. Idol form does count as a buff, but only a 20% chance for the boss to S1 her. 65 Eff for a bonus strip isn't mandatory but helps a bit.
-
Angelic Montmorancy
Ice Soul WeaverAMomo provides very consistent cleanse and her healing output is good here since the boss spams debuffs. You'll want 200 EffRes so that you can resist the Silence. She has Immunity from S3 and a low chance for Heal buff from S2 via skill tree, but this is a non issue unless you have Meru skills on.
Artifacts
Similar to heroes, I will just list artifacts in order of best to worst, sorted by Role and by Class.
Starting with...
Tank
Knight
Soul Weaver
Common
DPS
Literally, just use this. If for some reason you don't want to, just use whatever you have on for other contet.

Ranger
Mage
Common
Healer
Soul Weaver
Now that you have an idea of who you can use, I'll give you 3 potential teams.
Budget AF
-
Adventurer Ras
Fire Knight -
Mercedes
Fire Mage -
Falconer Kluri
Earth Knight -
Angelic Montmorancy
Ice Soul Weaver
This is hands down the most budget team you could have. It will get the job done though.
Decent
This team is pretty decent. A significant improvement over the budget build, but with 2 5* characters. If you followed the new player guide though, you should have both.
Best Team Possible
-
Unbound Knight Arowell
Light Knight -
Vildred
Earth Thief -
Iseria
Earth Ranger -
Tamarinne
Fire Soul Weaver
This is the best team possible, but you should be running Arowell and Vildred with skills off.
That concludes this guide to Azimanak 13. Happy farming :)
